Glebe Terrace

Our determined clients had a vision of open spaces and natural finishes when they requested a complete renovation of their 1980’s terrace in Glebe.

Replacing load bearing walls with steel portal frames, removing heavy concrete stairs and bringing in light through new, enlarged, steel framed windows, allowed spaces to reach their full potential. A consulting room on the lower level required flexible walls with good acoustic qualities to ensure that there was no compromise to natural light received at the very rear of the floor plan. Ample storage has been integrated with the planning of functional spaces to maintain an open feel. An extensive art collection is thoughtfully hung and carefully lit, to create a delightful, personal feeling of home throughout.
