New Rooms at The Old Clare Hotel

The luxury boutique Old Clare Hotel was seeking a softer, more feminine expression for 7 additional rooms in the upper levels of the original ‘Clare’ building. The inclusion of artworks, curated by the Sherman Foundation, led to the design of low, sofly shaped leather clad bedside joinery. Milk white stone, 1930’s style fluted glass, light oak veneer and existing floor finishes add soft texture to the rooms which otherwise carry through with the design sensibility of the 2015 conversion of the building by TZG architects.

HCA were commissioned to design and supply the bespoke ‘Clare’ Pendant light fittings which are a feature of each room linking the 1930s original building design with the new decor.
